Simple Fitness Tip That Will Blow Your Mind

I’ve got a tip for you in this article that’s SO simple it will both blow your mind and make you think “dad joke.”

First, let’s get that dad joke over with…

What’s the secret to reaching your goals?

Set goals that you can reach.

Yeah, that’s bad, I know. But it’ll all make sense in a second…

I put out a FREE Goal Setting Guide this month that talks all about the power of setting something called BASELINE and STRETCH goals…

Baseline goals are something you can realistically do on a regular basis (with a little effort).

The problem is, most of us start out with bigger STRETCH GOALS, which take a lot of time or effort – or a big change in your lifestyle.

That means as soon as our schedule gets busy or something gets in the way, we end up giving up because we can’t keep up.

BUT … if you set a BASELINE goal, that doesn’t happen.

The beauty of it is that you can always do a little more than your baseline goal if you have the time or energy!

Here is an example of what I’m talking about.

A lot of times, people will set a huge fitness goal like working out 5 days a week for 45 minutes … but a baseline goal that you could realistically reach could be working out for 30 minutes, 3 days a week.

On weeks you have more time, you could always get in those extra workouts! But you don’t HAVE to do them to reach your goal and stay on track.

Make sense?

I have a little challenge for you: try setting 1-2 baseline goals for yourself (RIGHT NOW!) for the rest of this month.

This could be something like drinking a tall glass of water every two hours … or taking a 5-minute walk after you eat … or whatever resonates with you.

This will help cement your healthy habits … gain traction … and you’ll be AMAZED at the difference they can make over time!

Remember the old saying, “Slow and steady wins the race?”

That applies to your 2023 goals!

With that in mind — go out and make it an amazing day!
