Real quick, I’m going to let you in on a not-so-secret secret …
… and I’m doing it because I hope it gives you a mindset shift.
If you’re on my email list, I talked about this the other day … but it’s so important I want to talk about it again!
Quick note, if you DON’T already know me, I’m Brittany and I help people lose weight, gain strength, and feel confident through online fitness and nutrition training.
Okay, here’s that not-so-secret secret:
Almost everyone feels like they struggle with sticking to a healthy diet from time to time.
Yes, even me.
It seems like every week; someone confesses that it’s their #1 issue getting in the way of their fitness goals.
And they feel a lot of guilt about it.
Rather than playing the shame game when it comes to eating, what if instead, you focused on making sure your NEXT meal is healthy?
Not whether it’s “good” or “bad” — but whether it’s adding value to your life!
The thing is, what you eat matters a lot …
That’s because your eating habits can:
- Help you live longer
- Boost your immunity
- Help you reach & maintain a healthy weight
- Support your muscles and bones
- Keep your skin, teeth, and eyes healthy
- Lower your risk of a long list of chronic diseases
- Help your digestive system do its job
- Support healthy pregnancies & breastfeeding
Not to mention, what you eat can:
- Give you more energy or leave you feeling blah and bloated
- Cut down or contribute to aches & pains
- Help you sleep better or keep you up at night
- Boost your workout performance and recovery — or make you feel weighed down and sluggish.
When you look at the value your food choices offer, it can help you shift your mindset.
So, today I’ve got an easy tip to help you make sure you have healthy foods on-hand at mealtime.
Every time you make dinner, just make extra.
This way you have healthy leftovers ready and waiting for you for lunch or tomorrow night’s dinner.
So instead of cooking up a pound of ground turkey for tonight’s tacos, double it.
Yes, it really can be that simple — and that is why it works so well.
Thank you for reading and I’ll be back next week!
