THE MAIN THING

If you find yourself getting bored with your goals more often than not…

I’m about to give you ONE simple reframe that will keep you motivated — so stop what you’re doing and SAVE THIS POST.

By the way, if you’re on my email list, I talked about this the other day … but it’s so important I want to talk about it again!

And for those of you who DON’T already know, I’m Brittany and I help people lose weight, gain strength, and feel confident.

What I’m about to share with you works for me EVERY TIME to help me focus on what really matters when it comes to my goals…

It’s actually something business guru Stephen Covey once said…

And it’s SUCH a simple concept that once I say it, it might not hit you at first, but trust me, this is gold…

You ready for it?

Here it is…

The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.

Here’s what that means and why it’s so important.

When you set a goal like a New Year’s resolution, it can turn into a huge production.

You start out by telling yourself you’re going to work out a few days a week, or you’re going to switch up what you eat every day.

And then suddenly you realize there are a lot of things that you think you should do … or could do to reach that goal faster … or even just to prepare yourself for it.

Which might mean a trip to the store to buy new workout clothes or spending hours coming up with the perfect macro-based meal plan, or saving up for some new fitness equipment.

The list keeps growing — and before you know it, it’s February and you haven’t even started.

The problem is — all those ideas for things you think you have to do – it’s all just busy work.

BECAUSE … the ONE THING that will move you closer to your goals is the MAIN THING – the action goal you set in the first place.

Things like the workouts, or the foods you are eating, or whatever it is you want to work on.

Reaching your goals is a constant process of circling back to the MAIN THING.

It’s human nature to want to jazz it up — or want to do things “better,” “more,” or “optimized.”

And that can be great — as long as it doesn’t get in the way of the MAIN THING, which in this case are your workouts.

If you’re struggling to focus or get started, a coach is a HUGE help.

So, if you KNOW you get sidetracked, or need a little extra accountability, now is the time to reach out.

FIT WITH BRITT has already helped dozens of people do it, and I can help you do it too.
